Tuesday my husband stepson and I went in to buy a suit jacket for his new job at bank. An employee walked by as their was no employees in the dept. it was 10am she walked by and my step son says excuse me we need help and I have questions. She replied no speak English. wTF?? Thought I would give Macy's a try instead of Nordstrom, and won't make that mistake again. I ordered some things from Macy's online, a couple of them didn't work, so I shipped them back the next day, 3 weeks later, instead of crediting my credit card, they sent me Macy's gift cards. I returned my International order to Macys borderfree the address they provided at my own expense. It was delivered to borderfree on April 30 which can be tracked on line . It will be a month soon. We purchased a full outdoor dining set, extra chairs and table from Macy's. I did not want to purchase the warranty. My husband decided to purchase it after being told that if we purchased the warranty "everything" would be covered for 5 years for any reason, even if the cushions on our outdoor furniture discolored due to outdoor use. I have been a Macy's customer for years but I am sad to say after visiting the Kailua Kona Macy's I will not be a customer anymore. I bought an Inglot palette in Macy's Union Square, and one of my eyeshadows (m344) was irritatingly and stupidly replaced by the employee by m345, a green shade which is obviously not the pinkish brown I had asked for. I receive my bills electronically. On at least two or three occasions the first billing I received was a month late with a $25 late fee and interest added. The first time I paid the extra fees, assuming that I just missed the first email.
