Have a class reunion to attend, so was shopping online for a dress. Went to Macy's site, sale on, found a nice dress for good price, plus over $75 spent they offered an extra 25% discount plus free shipping so I ordered a pair of shoes also. went to the Hampton bays ny store on 8/13/16. shopped for clothing and took a large quantity into dressing room. kept what i liked which was a out 10 pieces. asked a very nice girl at checkout if she could keep them while i finished shopping. she said sure. i went to the other side of wall in SAME DEPARTMENT and found a few more pieces. entering the room again i see my clothes hanging. go in and try on the new items. come out and a different... When ordering a mattress and box springs, I chose the low profile box - same price as regular. Was told that if I did not like it, I could switch. I decided to switch and was shocked to be charged a higher price for the regular box, an $85 delivery fee, and 15% restocking fee. Changing my mind cost me $200, certainly not what was represented when i made the order. When I called about it, I was told that they didn't charge the $85 pickup fee... Read more

Apparently I missed one payment Due July 21 for the total amount of $76.85 dollars. I started getting phone calls from an 800 number that I did not recognize...I do not pick up the phone if I do not recognize the number.. when I listened to the message...it said that it was important that I notify them, nothing about owing money...I assumed it was just another sales pitch....Then they started calling as much as 3 times a day. I worked at Macys for quite some time so I sympathize a lot with them, but I recently ordered a sweatshirt and it came it. Having worked there before I immediately knew the product had been previously returned so I inspected the item which was dirty and had a hole in it. Simple enough. I bought two mattress sets with bed frames. On the advertising and sales flier it stated that there was free removal of used mattresses when you buy a mattress set. I had to pay a $22 recycling fee per mattress with box spring that would be hauled away. When delivery people come the refuse to take mattress because it is stained. I decided to have a bridal registry at Macy's because I have always loved the stores quality and customer service. There were a few items that I decided to return because either I had duplicate or someone bought me a similar item from another store. My daughter opened an account at Macy's to get a discount. She then went into a store to make a payment asking to pay the account IN FULL. Well, today we received a bill for 0.02 in the mail. Guess what?--if we don't pay, we get a late fee of $37. Try to pay by phone or online--expect to have to submit a checking account routing number and account number--no thanks! Macy's sent me a bill for $2.00 plus an additional $2.00 (previous balance) on a ZERO account balance. I've called customer service 2 other times and each time the Rep would apologize and remove the charge. On 8/1/16 I called again with the same issue. My account was paid in full back in 5/2016 with no additional purchases. The 1st customer service rep spoke to me in a condescending manner and ended the call by hanging up on me. I still did...
