Macy's has the worst customer service. I made a $60 purchase and called 3 months after wondering why I had not received a bill. When I called customer service told me that they had applied another $60 fee . Although Macy's claims to be a charitable organization, Macy's could care less about making sure their employees with disabilities are treated properly. Macy's would rather harass & retaliate against their employees with disabilities instead. On 8/8/14 my husband and I purchased a sofa from Macys. Because we were offered an extra $100 discount if we opened an account, we did. This was to be a joint account, but sales person set it up as my husband only, even after I tendered a $500 deposit. Macys assured me that this couch was available in their warehouse. I received a Macy's gift card from a woman who's mother I took care of. I tried to use it online and it didn't work. I called the gift card line to check the balance and the system kept saying my gift card number was not recognized. This is an unbelievable ripoff! My husband and I visited Macy's at West 34th, NYC. We both tried shoes and found pairs that we liked. I asked to pay for both, since our credit cards are foreign and has a transaction cost. Macy's store level customer service is a joke. 1) the staff ignore the customers unless they are they are trying to sell you their credit card 2) Sanitation area is always filthy 3)Spraying fragrance on you (headache city) 4) and lastly, train your staff to stop being jaded, not everyone steals! #nevershoppingatamacysstore #fyourcredicard Add comment

Ordered over $4,000 worth of outdoor lawn furniture on July 4. Was given deliver date of Aug 16. That date came and went with no furniture. About a week later we called back and got another date. I went to Macy's to purchase and enter the izod Honda contest. After the purchase no one knew anything about the contest. Not one person knew anything.one employee had seen a car but was removed before contest was over, no additional info. Add comment

Macy's customer service in the store is the worst service ever. Some of the staff are rude, I had to make a refund at the store and they made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I have spent some good amount of money with Macy's but after my last 2 bad experience I will not spend a dime in this company.
