I have 2 accounts w/macy's - both have the same account number. I owe 0 on one and have 6 months same as cash on the other. I made a payment of $130 towards that account & they applied it to the (0) balance which is now ($130) and when I called, they stated that I put the
money on the wrong account. I asked them how I did that - electronically, as they applied the $130 and they could not answer, I asked for an english speaking/understanding person and the
Customer Service rep (used loosely) was rude. I don't know how to get that amount moved since they put both accounts under one number. I am pissed.

If you look at your statement the 6 months no interest acct. type should have been a type 31 32 36 or 40 that's how you signify the special acct. usually with a bank you would put the acct num. followed by the acct type but it depends on the bank. She should have told you that but to be sure to try contacting your bank first and ask what they req.
