"Hello,

I used to love shopping @***.com until recently I had to return some items by mail and got a huge problem with that and no help at all from customer services.

I purchased tahari,coat, and paid with my master gift card which i throw away after the card was empty and lauren ralph lauren,pants

and paid with my debit card,later I closed my account at the bank and didnt have this card more than a year on the top of it the card was expired this year in April.

So, I knew i would possibly have problem with my refund to these cards that's why before send everything I contacted Macy's representative who told me to print out return email and write a note that the cards I did purchases don't exist anymore and I would like to get my refund in form of an Easy Exchange Card. . I followed everything that he told me to do I put a huge note written with marker that cards are not exists anymore .

So apparently whoever got my packages simply ignored all my notes. At the end of my story they are sending refunds to all these cards that don't even exist anymore and when I called to Customer Service I didn't get much help at all. They told me to contact bank but what bank if one of the cards was a gift card i don't know what bank I supposed to call? I did call to gift cards customer service though they told me I need to provide them a proof of receipt of gift card that I bought but I don't have this receipt because the card was purchased in 2012 and given me as Christmas gift. I did went to store where the card was purchased and they told me they only have 6 month of old receipt records. Other debit card I have no idea how refund could go through to this card because the account of this card doesn't exist more then a year I called the bank there is not even record of this card as well even though if the money went to this card they will go back to Macy's again later because there is not such bank account or card exist.

My third return was Bandolino Christana Booties with this return I should be getting an Easy Exchange Card but I still waiting. (even though it reached warehouse on Sept.30) I guess person who got this item was more responsible to read customer note.

Now I don't have my items or my money back. All that i did I followed whatever Macy's employe told me to do and I wanted to get an Easy Exchange Card to spend it at Macy's store again not somewhere else. I couldn't even think that such a big company as Macy's can be so irresponsible and what more important don't even care about their customers. Now they are telling me that all returns at Macys.com credited to original form of payment. Really? then why your employe didn't tell me this in the beginning so I would simply take it to store. "

Monetary Loss: $231.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
