Sectional delivered.
Three previous dates moved back due to industry wide manufacturing and delivery delays nationwide.
When sofa finally delivered, new rug did not compliment the sofa at all. 5x8 Size was too small - room needed larger 8x10
area rug. Color and pattern too dark, needed light neutral solid color to pull the room together. Rug was never used, it was rolled up and stored in closet, for what was supposed to be few weeks, and pulled out when sofa arrived.
Hauled rolled up rug to Macys Cherry Creek store when I returned home from family Christmas visit.
Tanya, kindly explained rug gallery is leased from David Mink Rug Company.
I hauled rug back home and I called them for authorization to return rug and receive credit for $314.00. Talked to Carole, obnoxiously rude customer service rep who was not interested in hearing how Macy's manufacturing and shipping delays affected my situation.She told me I should have waited and picked out a rug AFTER my sofa was in my home.
The only option she tried to "force me to consider" was to apply the $314 credit to a new rug from the store or their online selection. I had already looked at the "trendy" rug display when I visited the store with rug in tow. I also informed Carole that the 8x10 size was ranging from $1,000 to $3,000, not in my budget.
Also, I would never order a rug, or furniture online!!!!!!!!
Dealing with this company and their rude customer service agent, ONCE was ENOUGH!!!
I am 78 yrs old, and having to fight with this company for a $314 credit is not good for my health.
I actually need to put that money towards an affordable neutral rug ( $350) to finally complete the room.
Reaching out to you, has helped me in the past, hoping you can get this unscrupulous David Mink Rug Company and Macy's higher ups to resolve this issue. thank you

Complaint with the Macy's Department Store 732 in Alpharetta Ga at
I was at the jewelry counter this morning at approximately 10:05 a.m. I waited for more than 10 minutes and no one greeted me or said someone will be with you shortly.
Dewayne and Tammy both saw me waiting but no one acknowledged me. I asked for the manager and they said Dewayne was the Manager. I surely didn't want to talk with him since he was part of the problem after being treated like a third class citizen. I give Macy's to much money and if I was going to spend $1,000.000 they surely missed out.
The customer service experience in the jewelry department is HORRIFIC. I need this to be addressed with the proper chain of command.

The reason Im rating the Macys located inside the Woodbridge Mall-Woodbridge NJ zero stars is because the MAC-MAKE-UP manager Kaye on duty between the hours of 2:30p-4:30p on 4/23/22 by FAR was very very RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and displayed an attitude with a disturbing demeanor! The DEPT was not busy as she made me wait 1 hr in a chair before making a decision to have a staff member do only my eyes!
The staff member that had NO customers for 20 mins and counting asked if she can do my eyes and Kaye BLATANTLY replied, No she can wait until the other staff member that had 1 customer is done or until she decides to do it herself!! REALLY and thats professional!
I arrived at 2:30p and left at 4:45p for a job that took 15 mins!!! The entire process from beginning to end was DISAPPOINTING of which I decided to give zero stars..

I have a email saying that my order was placed. My phone never connected so I do not know how the order went through.I had to delete the app and shut down my phone. Hopefully I am disconnected from macys
Up to this time Macys was not at fault. Here is when my problem started. I went on another laptop to get the number for macys customer service. I tried over 6 numbers.
None of the numbers were in service, I then tried pissed consumer and reached macys or at least got a recording telling me it would be a 15 min wait at least. Meanwhile my phone is still spinning and the 18 items in my cart are GONE!!!!.I then went to the macys site on my laptop and THANK Goodness it said the order was placed!!! No thanks to macys.
I do not know why but all i know is that I never could have went back and remembered what I ordered.So the point of this COMPLAINT is the fact I could not reach anyone to help me at all!! NO ONE.Thank you pissed consumer for your help!!!!
