Went to Macys Polaris to take my ring (my Christmas gift) in to be sized down and to buy the worry no more warranty. I was there over an hour and looked at the same ring( they had one in stock) the sales woman said ring was not on sale now - I got my phone out and showed her itโ€™s still on sale and will be until 12/24/17!

Ok -long story short- I wish she would have told me she was new and not sure what she was doing- I would have been more understanding! So after taking ring off my card to add warranty.... then put it back on and said I adjusted the price since itโ€™s not on sale.... once again I had to show her-its still on sale!

She took it off the card again- then put it back on AGAIN THEN SHE SAYS NOT IN LOWER VOICE OR COMING TO COUNTER TO TELL ME IT WAS DECLINED AND SAID YOU NEED TO CALL THEM- I was so embarrassed as people were all around me . OMG I was looking for a rock to crawl under- then I started to have a panick attack and had to go to restroom to be sick:( . I get back and call credit card and in process- credit card fraud calls me- while Iโ€™m on hold to see what is problem. He then asks if Iโ€™m in Macys and I said yes I am- I explained her returning putting back on returning again!

He got it fixed and it went thru! Thank god! I was so done and shaking and was sick- Thru all of this her manager was near by and had been looking over and saw everything going on- Not very happy- I asked sales woman where is store manager and she says oh so casually- upstairs- omg I almost lost it! Her manager was near and finally came over and I asked if I could speak with her...

well she really didnโ€™t care so much but gave me a $25 store voucher-?which I accepted! I felt I was at least owed that for all the anxiety and embarrassment! I wanted to just return ring and be done and find another ring some where else- I called my husband he said not to return it- and he calmed me down- I was in tears ! My ring did get sent out for sizing- I said this is my first and last time here- never coming back- sales woman said you have to come back to pick your ring up and check it out!

Yet another omg moment- where I wanted to go off! I said I will have my husband bring me to pick it up! I am praying my ring comes back - with no problems! I am so close to closing my Macys account and being done!

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO UPSET AND EMBARRASSED IN MY LIFE ... YOU DONT JUST YELL THAT YOUR CARD IS DECLINED AND YOU NEED TO CALL THEM! I have always worked customer service and you just donโ€™t handle it that way! Thatโ€™s not good business!

I am one VERY VERY UPSET CUSTOMER! I would hope someone will contact me over this matter- from upper management! I do understand that everyone is new at some point. I was new before too!

She could have at least said Iโ€™m new please bear with me and ask for help- if you donโ€™t know what you are doing or how to do something- asking for help never hurt anyone! I would have appreciated that a lot!

While this definitely could have been handled more tactfully, if you were literally shaking and sick because of her saying your card was declined when you knew what the problem was and that it was just the cashier charging/refunding/charging issue, then you need to seek professional help. Seriously......are you literally so vain that the thought of people thinking you had a card declined made you throw up? Life must be so very hard for you snowflake.

Well you probably have Never worked customer service- there are ways you handle things in a discreet way. Iโ€™m no snowflake but I do have ptsd.

Anxiety attacks are no joke or fun..............I was more mad than anything- her supervisor was near and watching her- but never came to check on her or ask if she needed help!

Iโ€™m so over Macys.What happened to good customer service? People that cared about the customer???
