Although Macy's claims to be a charitable organization, Macy's could care less about making sure their employees with disabilities are treated properly. Macy's would rather harass & retaliate against their employees with disabilities instead. They want these employees to go crawl into *** because they are 2nd class citizens.Speaking for employees with disabilities, I've witnessed several employees experience their wrath. Even if Macy's claimed to have an EEO manual.

There are no rules when it comes to any type of discrimination done by Macy's or it's HR staff.Their Equal Employment Opportunity policy leaves much to be desired. Rather than help employees with disabilities solve their department problems, Macy's calls their lawyers to give them a heads up regarding the complaint and if Macy's' lawyers consider the employee's complaint unimportant; the employees with disabilities get no respect in addition to being ignored.

Employees are left to suffer and be harassed the HR staff instead. Arrogant? yes, Wicked? yes' Above the law? Definitely yes. Makes you wonder what do they call charitable giving and to who? Veterans & other populations allow Macy's to get credits for them so why would Macy's risk it all to harass and retaliate against their staff like that? I would think long and hard before I do anything else with this company.

I realize that this comment is a couple years old but would you please contact EEOC investigator jamesmoulton@***.gov? He is an EEOC investigator who has been investigating Macy's since 2016 on similar charges.

I have worked for over 20 years for Macy's, and I don't know what planet your Macy's is on, but the behavior you just described does not exist where I am. I think you have one huge grudge against this company and are just using a public forum to advance an untrue complaint.
