Macy's sent me a bill for $2.00 plus an additional $2.00 (previous balance) on a ZERO account balance. I've called customer service 2 other times and each time the Rep would apologize and remove the charge.

On 8/1/16 I called again with the same issue. My account was paid in full back in 5/2016 with no additional purchases. The 1st customer service rep spoke to me in a condescending manner and ended the call by hanging up on me. I still did not understand why I was being billed "a minimum interest charge" on an account that was paid in full for 2 months.

I suppose she was tired of trying to explain the interest charged on a zero balance. I called back and the 2nd Rep waived the charges. When I told him I wanted to submit a complaint he said there were no notes on my account so there was no way to track the 1st customer rep.

Macy's management needs to retrain Customer service reps and revisit the policy of a $2.00 minimum interest charge especially on a zero account balance.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Macys Pros: Products and sales.

Macys Cons: Need reps that understand english.
