I was given a gift card for $100 this December (2012) that apparantly was a few years old. I was told that the gift card expired but yet there is NO expiration date and was told that the card is invalid and I would need to drive to a store 3.5 hours away ( each way) to see if "someone at the store would issue me a new card".

I would think that they should put an expiration date on the card if its going to deactivate after a period of time and am very upset and the customer service team for dismissing this. Its not as if this is just for a few dollars.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Why would you wait YEARS to use a gift card? Makes no sense.

If you read what the person wrote..they received the card in December 2012 so they only had it obviously a few months, the giver clearly had it longer ...likely regifting is my guess. Did you even read this ...?
