Macys call center in New Delhi, India
Very month I late fee is added to my Macys AmEx card – WHY? Because I do not receive my statement therefore it is late and I have a late fee to pay and my credit history goes down the drain. My fico score is 780 so it is not like I pay my bills late to all my vendors and I am in the Finance/Accounting field. I am pissed and wish that either AmEx will do something about this or Macys will find another company to do the credit card solutions.
By the way, I spoke to Kurt in India, and it took him 12 minutes to verify my information (I read my cc number to him four times), Jeff – his supervisor was no help either and I waited for Douglas for 10 minutes because he was on another call with other upset customers. Overall, time wasted on this call 35 minutes, lost customer to Macys one!! Happy husband One!! Bank savings for a year in THOUSANDS!!

Watch outer, Stop being foolish and admit that the Macy's billing department must improve their customer service or they will LOSE CUSTOMERS. Their are times when the billing department forgets to send bills to some Macy's customers.

deadbeat! did - not -get- my -bill. Did you not know you had to pay?
as far as India is concerned- people do not realize that that Indian you are talking to is keeping the cost of what you are buying down. Also they can resolve issues faster than a hick in Kansas.

They credited our payment for each of two months of Macy's bill to the Amex side - where we owed nothing- and then had these Indians and their automated harrassment service call us several times a day. When we call them back, they wanted us to give out credit card number to them! Told them to have macys mail us and not to call us anymore and they called seven more times that day. Called the macy number on the back of our card to see what gives- this was lunacy- for them to apply our exact payment of the Macy bill to a non-bill on the amex side, not notify us by mail or directly from Macy's, and then after two bill cycles they give us to their indian harrassment division? No, Macy's is nuts- believe this guy- and their Indian call center are horrible- would any of you give your credit card number to an Indian who cold calls you at your house? I would not give that info to my neighbor!
Do yourself a favor and never open a Macy's account- we are closing ours- and never shopping their again.
Maybe if they hired some our of work Americans they could get it right and not harass decent people BECAUSE THEIR RIGHT HAND DOES NOT TALK TO THEIR LEFT!
do you really expect me to believe that you are an accountant and you blame the credit card company for you being late monthly. i doubt the whole truth is there.
