I have recently bought a marc Jacobs perfume for a gift at Macys located in flushing, NY. When I was purchasing it I asked them for a gift receipt so I would be able to give to my friend as a gift of course, and just in case she wanted to exchange it.

She took it the same Flushing's Macy and asked for a exchange, but was told they were not able to because it was a gift that came along with a purchase. So basically the perfume was a one plus one deal, which they have not gave me another one and sold me a not for sale product! I haven't noticed it was a not for sale product because I had asked them to wrap it for me. I'm more angry at the fact that when I went to speak with them they attacked me in front of everyone there and not just one sales person but two!

They spoke as if I was some crazy person trying to exchange a not for sale product! Why in the world would I do such a thing if I knew it said not for sale on the back, and was a one plus one deal. I didn't even know they were having the deal! SO basically I got ripped off and can't even return the product.

My friend probably thinks I gave her a gift I received while I was buying something else. I was so angry I was literally shaking! I have been a Macy's customers for over 10 years and never will go to Macy's again! How embarrassing is this, not even a sorry.

I didn't know they trained their workers this way. How is trusting the workers to do their jobs correctly my fault! How can they not double check the product before selling it to me? Is it clearly my fault that they sold me a not for sale product and gave me the wrong receipt?

How could they not have seen the NOT FOR INDIVIDUAL SALE and not check the receipt before handing it to the customer? AND HOW DARE THEY MAKE IT SEEM LIKE I WAS SCAMMING THEM. Talking as If I was not there, mocking me. Who is *** enough to bring in something like that to rerun it.

Honestly, I didn't even know it had the Not For Individual Sale sticker until they showed me. Yes, that's how much I trusted them to do their job right. You know, maybe an apology would have been nice and not trying to blame everything on the customers attitude. I've never been this embarrassed in my life.

Even my friend standing next to me got angry at how they were treating me. Even the manager there would not apology, but only told me we would have to "investigate". Investigate? Is that all you have to say to an angry customer?

And if I'm right? How are they going to pay me back for how you embarrassed me today! I'm seriously done with Macy's and their stinking attitude, how more rude can the workers get.

They probably scammed other customers like this too. If their going to use workers like that then clearly that's not a place to go.
