Order cancelled by Macys
Placed an online order with Macys on a one day sale, money was removed from account and order was cancelled by Macys because they claim they could not verify information. When we called they would not tell us what information needed to be verified.
Hours of calling resulted in no help whatsoever. Macys are thieves. They told me I would have to reorder at a higher price because they would not honor the sale price and that they could not re-place the order.
Request to speak with supervisor after supervisor did not help. Threatened contact with legal counsel and the Consumer Protection Bureau also had no effect.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Monetary Loss: $90.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
Macys Cons: Billing and customer service.

I just had a similar issue with Macyโs. They just canceled my order from two weeks ago telling me to disregard the previous shipping notification I received.
They gave no reason for the cancellation but told me the product was in stock and I could reorder. However, I originally had free shipping but donโt have it now so....
