Macys was once my favorite store. I also joked about moving to cities base on Macys department store location. Wow is it very dissatisfying and disturbing to see the Macys at Governor square Mall located in Tallahassee, FL look so disgusting. To start with its a smaller store compared to most Ive visited around the country, so youre not going to have the same options as other store. Furthermore, during the holidays I was told to carry my purchase garments in my hand because the store doesnt have bags including no receipt paper, wow. Last and most importantly this store should be condemn with the filth found on every level. Ive visited Walmarts, flea markets, and your most cheapest establishments that look 10 times better than this store. Its absurd that a department store with so much class, elegance, and fame would look so deplorable. The restrooms are more dirty than a ball park, and oh please dont talk about the fitting room. I would rather take my chances purchasing and returning what doesnt fit than utilizing these nasty fitting rooms. Im afraid of catching something from allowing my feet to touch the stained and bug infested carpet. At the end of the day this store needs to be closed and remodel or needs new management to start with. My goodness Macys inc take your name off this building and save your name from being forever tarnished. Because I can assure most fine customers are walking out of the store and bee lining to other department stores in the mall with much cleaner environment. FYI: Im a platinum Macys customer and willing to provide photos and videos of this store.

I never heard from Macy’s on my issue. After I filled out my complaint with Pissed consumer I received a survey from Macy’s to rate an item I purchased but never the opportunity to review my issues.

Macy's has been one of my favorite stores for years . I've purchased everything from clothing to bedding to furniture for years . Recently I decided to sign up for email alerts for sale items . In less then 24 hours after signing up I received an email from Macy's telling me that an item I recently looked at was now on sale . They even included a picture of the item and listed it as Now On Sale . It was not , and it was listed at the same price as originally listed . I found this to be very misleading and even a bit underhanded and I feel dishonest . When I reached out to customer care I landed in the Philippines twice . The first rep suggested I disregard the email . When I stated I thought it was misleading and dishonest my call was transferred to a store that was closed . I called back , explained the situation to the next agent . She asked me to send her a copy of the email . I did . she said she would look into it and get back with me in 24 hrs . Still waiting for that call . I called back a 3rd time and for the third time I landed in the Philippines . I asked to be transferred to a US agent . I was , she apologized , asked for a copy of the email . She said she would send a gift card for the inconvenience . I never received it . I called again , and again I had to request to speak with a US agent . I spoke with a nice lady who said she could issue a rewards thru my credit card on my next purchase but not to my credit card . At this point I asked her to escalate this to the next level . I waited over 20 minutes to be greeted by a very arrogant , condescending women who told me that it was the fault of A . I . technology . and there was nothing she could do . So after 5 phone calls and almost 2 weeks of trying to resolve this issue I met with arrogance and attitude by the higher up . I have worked with the public and customer care for over 40 years . The lady I spoke with today Is clearly in the wrong field . MORE IMPORTANTLY , MACY'S HAD 5 CHANCES TO CORRECT THEIR ERROR AND FAILED EVERY TIME . THEY ABUSED MY TRUST BY SENDING ME FALSE INFORMATION AFTER SPYING ON MY SEARCHES ON THEIR WEBSITE . WHEN I GAVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLAIN AND CORRECT THEY FAILED . AFTER YEARS OF MACY'S BEING MY GOTO STORE I'VE CANCELED MY CARD AND WILL RETURN THE ITEM IN QUESTION . This whole situation makes me very sad . In way I feel like I lost a friend . I have shopped at Macy's forever but after the way I was treated today combined with this whole situation I am done .

There are many poor areas with macys. The credit card issuing bank changes often, the customer service is horrible along with the language barriers. I was charged 29.00 interest AFTER the bal was paid in full. The newest scam is the web site has added 3rd party clothing providers. I felt like a bait and switch victim. I called to Complain abd was advised it a new practice. It's deceptive I was shopping based on brand at Macy's not vetting pop up shops. I can go to Amazon for that!! Didn't realize until my order email confirmation stated shipping from provider. Won't online shopping with them.

I called to try & get an order canceled from Macy's ,through UPS as the shipping company, because the order I placed was being sent to the wrong address (my error) I was told in my original call that the order would be canceled & my payment refunded. The next day, the order was delivered to the wrong address, so I called again to get it straightened out. I again was told a refund would be issued based on never receiving the shipment. Because there were 2 separate shipments, I had to wait until it was delivered as well. It was also delivered yesterday. I now have to call Macy's again to check on the first delivery refund, as well as report that I never received the 2nd shipment. It will be well worth the time as I appreciate Macys response.

Purse malfunction

The strap started to fall apart and I really would like to have the strap replaced. Ive dealt with (Coach) and Luis in Chanel and Ive always been able to get great customer service. This is my first Michael Kors bag so Im praying that I get the same customer service that I am accustomed to. The only number on the purse itself, that I can find is 197-**** and it is the brown version very soft leather version I absolutely love the purse. It has gold chains and then turns into a leather strap.

Macys customer service is worst than bad . I have held on over many calls for untold hours only to be told that supervisors would return my call . They never did . Months after unresolved issues, I returned to the shop as I live abroad . The manager asked me to write her an email and she would look into it. . I wrote 8 times she never answered. I called customer service again. I was told that I should write to customerservice@***.com and they would answer . I wrote 4 times . They never did. I am 2,000 dollars out of pocket and am not able to resolve this .
