Pretty good

I got a refund on my expired luxury bath items. My one complaint was it took switching to a third person before the issue was resolved.

They refused to refund my shipping on a return

I purchased a bracelet, and it was very cheap for the money, so I decided to return it. I had an email that said free return shipping, and I got a UPS label and sent it back.

I brought it to a UPS drop-off. I was charged for the return! I never thought I would have such a runaround of foreign people all telling me the same crazy story when I called customer service. They told me there was nothing they could do for me.

I was shocked that Macy's, an American company, had this nonsense going on. Not one person, even a supervisor, offered to help me. It's not even the amount of the return shipping; as I told them, it was the principle of the thing. How dare they do that?

Not only did you give me something that was way below the standards for the price, but on top of that, you tried to get me, and you did for the shipping. I was not helped at all by these people.

Terrible. I really don't think I'll be shopping at Macy's anymore.

Nonexistent Customer Service

I had ordered a few items; one package was for my mom, and I admit that the package was sent to the incorrect address. The items did not fit and had to be returned.

In the interim, my mom had a cardiac arrest event, formerly called sudden cardiac death, and was rushed to the ER, then to cardiac rehab. I had to temporarily relocate to help with my mom's recovery and eventual return to a skilled nursing facility, all of which I had told Macy's during my conversations with their call center. Unbeknownst to me, and this is becoming a sad trend, the store and call center do not communicate with one another. I was told to contact Lands' End directly, which I did, but I never received a response.

Out of desperation, I called the service phone number, and I was told to go to the store the next day, and they could help me with my returns. I went to the store and was basically told, 'too bad.' I am disabled myself, and it's a herculean effort to get anywhere outside of a city.

Uber, Lyft, buses, and taxis are few and far between. I do not understand how I can ask for an exception to the return policy considering the circumstances, be told that Macy's would help me, and then end up with no help at all.

The “service phone number” you called, was that Land’s End? If it was.

they cannot speak for or change a Macy’s policy. If that number was Macy’s, call it back to return through the mail.

Problem unresolved

I did not want a Macys American Express card. The interest rate is outrageous.

Financially, it is a very dangerous card to have. How can you charge 33% interest?

Trying to tell customer about my new debit card

They tell me something that has nothing to do with my problem. I want to order clothes, which I do all the time, but my debit card has expired, and I want to give them my new card.

No me dieron mi pedido. Pésimo servicio.

Dieron mi pedido como entregado y no es cierto. No me enviaron foto de la entrega, no está en mi puerta ni en mi correo.

Terrible service

Ordered bed topper and received pillows, called customer service/returns automated system 15 choices to talk to human, ordered 2-Dec received wrong items 12-Dec for Xmas present, told story 4 different people and still nothing, finally someone realized hey our fault, supposed to now ship 2-3 days, lets see.

I received Tommy Hilfiger sandals from you on May 13th. A few days ago I saw the leather footbed has leather beginning to peel off.

They're far too new to be having this problem. I have pictures.

She told me if I canceled my order which had a pair of shoes when she immediately started to reorder my items on a different credit card suddenly the shoes were not available. How could this be when I had just placed the order with the shoes being available.

Customer service lied that they gave a refund on order macys cancelled. No refund was given per my Visa bill showed.

Do not order anything from Macys online. Their customer service is in Columbia and the reps , Elias and supervisor Juan lied to me.

Told me the refund went through 12 days after I received notice that Macys had cancelled the order. I was emailed that I would not be charged. I was charged and no refund was given.

No one to contact in the USA. Do not do business online, it is unsafe and Macys has no customer service!

User's recommendation: Do not order online. Colombian customer service is the only access to problems and both reps lied to me. No recourse. Avoid at all costs!
