I was finally able to contact the company that is supposed to provide the warranty for the $5,000 sectional sofa I purchased at the Macy's Tampa Furniture Gallery - as it seems they hide their contact info.After getting a representative on the phone I explained the problem: a 3" long tear on the leather and "flatenning" of the love seat cushion.

"No problem," she said, as the claim was denied as it had to be reported within 10 days of the incident.

The rep went on to provide me with another e-mail, denialdispute@unitersna.com, so that I could bring about my complaint.I could not believe what I was hearing since I paid $500 for insurance that is a "rip off." I will do whatever it takes for this company to fix what they are supposed to fix as MACY'S DOES take your money when they sell you their "Don't worry - it is all taken care of" warranty that by now, they should know it is a scam.

Monetary Loss: $1500.
